Zweimal im Jahr gab es einen großen Pferdemarkt in Bargteheide. Der größte fand im 18. Jahrhundert statt: alle umliegenden Dörfer um Bargteheide nahmen teil. Doch nach Ausbruch des Ersten Weltkriegs verlor er seine Bedeutung.

Twice a year a large horse market took place in Bargteheide. In the 18th century they were the largest: the whole area of Bargteheide took part. But after the outbreak of the First World War it lost all its meaning.
